Tobago Bay is Northern Virginia's HOT Calypso band featuring music from the Caribbean and the sound of steel drums. A stylistically unique band from day one, we have been singing, performing, and playing together since 2000. From Virginia to Washington, DC, to Maryland's Eastern Shore, our extremely professional and versatile group can be configured in various ways, ranging from solo steel pan to the full 5-member complement, and our wide musical repertoire includes both vocal and instrumental tunes. With music ranging from Soca and Calypso to Latin, Reggae, Jazz and Pop, we are perfect for any event and any venue. As veterans and professional military musicians in Washington, DC, We started performing together in 2000. We heard this amazing and vibrant sound after a visit to the Caribbean, and we just knew this fun and lively music would be a hit in the states. After a few gigs, we were sold! And you will be too.
